Título: Design and Development of Conversational Agents
Fecha: Martes 22 de noviembre, de 16:00 a 18:00
Lugar: Aula 009, Edificio de Tecnologías de la Información y las Telecomunicaciones
Ponente: Stavros Demetriadis, Full Professor, School of Informatics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece
Resumen: Conversational agents (CAs, or 'Chatbots') are software applications that communicate with humans using natural language. In this workshop we will focus on the technological tools that help us build CAs for various purposes, starting from the 'old fashioned' but always useful AIML (Artificial Intelligence Markup Language) and moving on to more complex NLP system architectures based on user-intent identification (such as Rasa) and, finally, to the state-of-the-art Large Language Models like BERT and GPT-3.
Instrucciones: This is a technically oriented workshop presenting design and development technologies of CAs independent of application domain. Those of you who would like to participate in hands-on activities please create accounts: a) at Pandora Bots to see the AIML-based approach, and b) at DALL-E to explore the GPT-3 language model. Also please bring your own computer.
