On Tuesday, May 28th, at 12:30 p.m., the Doctoral School organizes an informative session about the doctoral studies in Salón de Actos (Casa del Estudiante, Edificio EsDUVa). Some key aspects about doing a PhD will be explained, such as:
- Key people in each doctoral programme and in the EsDUVa
- Academic achievements to be reached for the thesis deposit
- Thesis modalities
- Training activities and doctoral activities document (DAD)
- Doctorate follow-up
- Stages of the thesis deposit and defence process
We will also briefly explain some opportunities available in doctoral studies such as international thesis co-supervision and mentions in the thesis (International Doctorate and Industrial Doctorate), for which the Doctoral School periodically organizes specific sessions to explain them in more detail.
This informative session is intended for both thesis supervisors (current and potential), as well as doctoral students and teaching and research staff in general. It will last about 45 minutes.
This session will be delivered in English.
