How to pre-enrol
1st. User registration
- If you have been a student of the University of Valladolid, you can skip this step, since your previous username and password are still valid. If you do not remember your password, please go to "IDENTITY" to retrieve it.
- If you have NEVER been related to the University of Valladolid, you must register in "user registration application”.
2nd. Fill in the pre-enrolment form
- You can access the pre-enrolment procedure with your username and password in the Catalogue for academic transactions-DOCTORATE in "Pre-enrolment doctorate".
- You should follow the steps outlined in our Guide to pre-enrol for doctoral studies.
Required documents for pre-enrolment
The documents to be uploaded in the application depends on the type of qualification that you hold and gives you access to the doctoral programme:
You must upload to the application:
- Passport (only for foreign applicants who do not have a NIE).
- Documents specifically required by the doctoral programme to which you are applying for admission (see PhD programmes information).
- If you are applying for part-time doctoral student status, fill in the Part-time doctoral application form, together with the document that accredits part-time status.
- Bachelor's degree diploma*.
- Academic certificate of the bachelor's degree or European Diploma Supplement (EDS)
- Master's degree diploma*
- Academic certificate of the master's degree or European Diploma Supplement (EDS)
*If you have given permission for it to be consulted, you can upload a scanned copy. If not, you must provide a certified true copy.
You must upload to the application:

You must upload copies of the diplomas and certificates in the original language, together with their translation into Spanish or English to the application:

- If you are applying for part-time doctoral student status, fill in the Part-time doctoral application form, together with the document that accredits part-time status.
- Official university diplomas of the studies completed in the country of origin in its original language together with its translation into Spanish or English.
- Academic certificate of the studies issued by the university in the original language, together with its translation into Spanish or English.
- Justifying document that the qualification accredits level 7 of the European Qualifications Framework.
- Official document accrediting that the degree entitles access to doctoral studies in the country of issuance.
You must upload legalised copies of the diplomas and certificates or with the corresponding apostille in your original language, together with their legalised or apostilled English or Spanish translation.

- Official university degrees of the studies completed in the country of origin with a level of education equivalent to the official Spanish master's degree in the original language, together with its translation into Spanish or English.
- Academic certificate of master's degree level studies stating the duration, courses taken, grades, and the number of credits or time load of each, together with the syllabus or certificate of the duration of these studies in their original language and their translation into Spanish or English.
- Document accrediting that the degree entitles access to doctoral studies in the country of issue.
- Previous bachelor's degree in its original language, together with its translation into Spanish or English.
- Academic certificate of bachelor’s degree level studies stating the duration, courses taken, grades and the number of credits or time load of each, together with the syllabus or certificate of the duration of these studies in their original language and their translation into Spanish or English.
- Application for verification of studies.
You must upload to the application:
- Passport (only for foreign applicants who do not have a NIE).
- Documents specifically required by the PhD programme to which you are applying for admission (see PhD programmes information).
- If you are applying for part-time doctoral student status, fill in the Part-time doctoral application form, together with the document that accredits part-time status.
- Doctoral degree/diploma in its original language and its translation into Spanish or English and legalised, if applicable (if it has been issued under foreign education systems outside the EHEA)*.
*If the doctoral degree has been issued in Spain and you have given permission for it to be consulted, you can upload a scanned copy. If not, you must provide a certified true copy.
You must upload to the application:

- Official certificate of the positive evaluation of at least two years of specialised health training.

Administrative validation
The administrative secretariat of the Doctoral School (EsDUVa) will check that your application or applications meet the access requirements and that the attached documents are correct. If this is not the case, we will contact you by e-mail in order to correct any shortcomings we may have detected. Should you fail to provide the required documents, your application will not be validated and, therefore, will not be assessed by the academic committee of the doctoral programme for admission.
