During the time the university is unable to solve this problem –which will then allow you to recover your academic transcript at the UVa– the easiest way is to register as a new user. To do this, click on “Register me for PhD Pre-enrolment”.
For more information on how to complete the registration, see the UVa Registration Guide.
You must submit only those documents specifically required by the programme for which you are applying for admission (see programme information). You will also have to submit the documents which accredit your personal situation (if you are going to be part-time, documents accrediting your disability, large family member, victim of terrorism...).
There are three types of documents:
- Compulsory:
- Official identity document (ID / Passport / NIE).
- Documents required depending on the admission path. See the cases explained in the pre-enrolment guide.
- Depending on the programme you wish to access. This is the document specifically required by the programme you are applying for (see programme information).
- Depending on your personal situation: possible application for part-time status and document accrediting part-time status (see conditions); documents accrediting disability, Large Family, Victim of terrorism...).
Even if it is not a master's degree, you must select the case of a master's degree obtained outside Spain on the ‘Previous studies’ application screen, and then attach the following documents:
- ID/NIE/Passport
- Curriculum vitae
- Bachelor's degree
- Academic transcripts of the bachelor’s degree
- Master’s degree
- Academic transcripts of the master’s degree
- Certification from the university that accredits that these studies entitle access to a doctorate
Other documents may also be required, depending on your personal situation or the specific requirements of the doctoral programme you wish to access (see program information).
No, not at this stage of pre-enrolment. Scanned documents are sufficient for the moment. The original will be requested if you are admitted, in order to complete the enrolment process.
If you have taken a university master's degree (official) at a Spanish university and, when you indicate the university, it does not appear in the list of master's degrees, you can indicate it in the following way:
- Check the option “Master's degree obtained outside Spain” (="Máster obtenido fuera del Estado español").
- On the country selection pop-up screen, select “Spain” and search for the university (asterisks may be used to facilitate the search; for example: *Santiago*).
- In the field of studies, indicate the name of the studies you have completed (for instance: "Gestión del Patrimonio Artístico y Arquitectónico, Museos y Mercado del Arte ").
Remember that you will have to indicate whether you have completed it or not and, once you have filled in this field, click on the ‘Next’ button to continue with the online application.
If you do not find your university registered in the system, you must select any other university in that country and in the study field of the same application indicate the name of the university next to the title of the studies.
Make sure that the tutor is a teacher on the programme; this is compulsory.
If the tutor does not appear in the list, enter the name of the programme coordinator in the tutor field and contact them by e-mail to indicate your proposal for a tutor.
